What Data We Collect
We do not run sign-up forms or mailing lists, and we do not ask for personal information on this website. To see which of our posts and ads bring readers to our books, this site uses advertising measurement tools from Google and Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — see Third-Party Services and Cookies below.
The only situation in which personal data is involved is when you choose to make a donation or purchase through one of our payment links. In those cases, you submit information directly to a third-party payment processor (Stripe or PayPal) — not to us. We do not see or store your full payment card details, billing address, or any sensitive financial information.
What we may receive after a completed transaction:
- Confirmation that a payment was made (to fulfil a book order or process a donation)
- Your name and email address, if provided to the payment processor and passed to us for order fulfilment
- For book orders: your shipping address and phone number, so the book can be posted to you
This information is used solely to fulfil your order or to acknowledge your donation. It is shared only with the person or shop that packs and posts your book. It is not sold, shared with third parties for marketing purposes, or used for any purpose beyond completing your request.
Third-Party Services
This site embeds or links to services operated by third parties. Each of these services has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle your data.
Stripe
Used to process one-time and monthly donation payments, as well as book orders. When you click a Stripe payment link, you are taken to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Stripe collects your payment details directly.

Video content on this site is embedded from YouTube (Google LLC). When a YouTube embed loads, YouTube may set cookies and collect viewing data according to their own policies, even if you do not press play.

Our pages load a Google tag that tells Google Ads when someone who saw one of our ads (for example on YouTube) later orders a book. Google may set cookies for this. You can manage ad personalisation in your Google account.
Google My Ad Center →Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram)
Our home and book pages load the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta when a page is viewed, when an Order button is pressed, and when an order is completed (book and price only — never your payment details or address), so we can see which Facebook and Instagram posts and ads work and show them to interested readers. Meta may set cookies and link this to your Meta account under its own policy.

This website has no logins and no cookies of its own for sessions or profiles. It does use the advertising measurement tools described above (Google Ads and Meta Pixel), which set their own cookies. Our pages also keep two small notes in your browser's local storage: which link or post brought you to the site (kept for up to 7 days) and which book's Order button you pressed, so a completed order can be credited to the right post. These notes stay in your browser and contain no personal information.
Third-party services embedded on this site — YouTube in particular — may set their own cookies in your browser when their content loads. These cookies are governed entirely by those third parties. To control or block them you can adjust your browser's cookie settings or use a browser extension that blocks third-party cookies. You can also limit ads based on your activity in your Meta ad preferences and Google My Ad Center.
Data Retention
We retain order and donation records only as long as required for fulfilment and basic accounting purposes, or as required by applicable law. We do not build our own profiles of visitors to this site; Google and Meta handle their advertising measurement data under their own policies.

Depending on your location you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you.
